Starting college at 16 was somewhat terrifying, but at the same time, I knew in my heart that I was ready. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to attend and grow at Gannon. I have had chances to travel that I never would have gotten to experience outside of school.

High School Diploma, June 2014

In high school, many students went to BOCES, a school for students interested in gaining skills in cosmetology, education and other fields. Since none of the programs piqued my interest, I was able to combine my junior and senior years of high school. I also had three high school courses that transferred from DeSales Catholic School, which provided room in my schedule to complete high school in three years. Graduating an entire year early was pretty uncommon when I inquired about it, but there were three other classmates who graduated early with me. In years since I graduated, I know there have been a handful of students who decided to graduate early as well.

8th grade Boston trip
DeSales Catholic School, 2001-2011
My educational journey began at DeSales Catholic School. The education I received here was instrumental in my success in high school, the foundation that paved the way for my future. I took three high school courses in eighth grade, starting out high school with a head start.
